10/30/2009: Join the IvenFaint "fanclub" and in two days, start voting for us everyday as your favourite band!

10/27/2009: OK - this is the most exciting IvenFaint news to come along in a very, very long time. Throughout October, we've been working our asses off in our studio and we came up with 14 new songs, the first of which is posted now on our myspace page for all to enjoy. We're in the process of doing more final mixes, finishing off a few rough demos, and rehearsing for all new live shows. The new album will be called How I Beat the World. Stay tuned for more details!8/20/2009: Another day, another internet battle of the bands. This one seems much more fair. Click here to vote for us! You can vote once every day until the contest ends, so do it! (Please!!!)

8/4/2009: Well for all of you keeping track, we were NOT selected to be in the final 5 bands with a chance to win a deal with myspace records. What the hell!?! Really???

Anyway, you can still check out the wonderful IvenFaint myspace page and be our friend!

In other news, we posted a video on youtube of us performing the classic 15-year-old-Beannie-written-classic-IvenFaint track, Nowhere. Yes. That's just the dining room with some cheesy lighting. Watch it anyway.

6/27/2009: After messing up the IvenFaint myspace page the other day, we're finally back online with even more songs for you to listen to, so enjoy! Check it out and be our friend.

While there, we also entered a contest to get a record deal with Myspace Records. Check this out:

Yes, even though the contest rules say the song can't be more than 6 minutes long, we submitted Submerged, which is just under 13 minutes. Thank anyone will notice? Think we'd win anyway?

Latest live performance news: We've been asked to play at Envy (4923 Penn Ave. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15224) on Friday July 24, 2009. We may even break out a new song or two. Be there!

6/21/2009: Happy Summer Solstice everyone, and welcome to yet another new IvenFaint web site! What is this, like the third web site so far this year? One of these days we'll find one we like AND that's easy to update. :) Let us know what you think of the new design.

In other news, we've got shows this week! Monday, June 22nd we're playing at the Z Lounge on East Carson Street in Pittsburgh's south side. Tuesday, June 23rd we're playing at the Brillobox on Penn Avenue. Thursday, June 25th we're planning to make an appearance at the Keynote Cafe's open mic night in Jeannette. This will be a totally different show from the first two, so come check us out.

Most of the stuff isn't up on the new site yet, so check out our myspace page in the meantime for concert updates and music. Check back often!

3/25/2009: Lots of big news today. First of all, IvenFaint will be performing on June 22, 2009 at the Z Lounge on East Carson St. in Pittsburgh, PA. We're opening for a band called Little Buddha - they're coming all the way from Scotland, so be sure to check it out! Cover is $5.00 and the show starts at 8:00 PM.

Also, we have 3 new CDs for sale! Check out the Music page for more details.

12/18/2008: Exciting news today! Instead of playing a holiday show somewhere (like we'd originally planned), we're throwing a house party and all are invited! When? Saturday December 27, 2008. Where? Justin's house. If you need directions, a ride, a place to crash, etc., email me. If you plan to attend, RSVP ASAP to said email. Don't miss the fun!

ALSO - IvenFaint will be performing live on Saturday January 10, 2009 at the Longbada Lounge located at 108 W. Pittsburgh St. in Greensburg, PA. Be there!

August 19, 2008: Hello everyone. Justin here with the latest IvenFaint update. Yes - we have a new web site design and I hope it's working well for everyone. It can't be much worse than the last one. In case you didn't know, we'll be performing with My Boyfriend the Pilot on Tuesday September 9, 2008 at Your Inner Vagabond. It's a free show, so no excuses not to come!

3/24/2008: The next IvenFaint show is confirmed: Club Cafe in Pittsburgh, April 22nd at 8:30 PM. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Also appearing is My Boyfriend the Pilot and Maurice Rickard. In case you're not yet familiar with the IvenFaint live set, we just put some new live tracks on our myspace page. (Robert Fripp is not invited to attend this performance.) If you haven't seen us live yet, you should really come to this show. The acoustics at Club Cafe are great and Justin just got some new bass strings!

3/18/2008: This is a quick update to let everyone know that we just added a few songs from our recent appearance at the Z Lounge to our myspace page. Click here and check 'em out! (We are continuing to DENY Robert Fripp's friend requests.)

1/3/2008: Happy new year! We're pleased to announce upcoming IvenFaint shows: Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Z Lounge in Pittsburgh's fabulous South Side. Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Belvedere's in Pittsburgh. Check out our myspace page for more details. (Notice that Robert Fripp is NOT a friend of IvenFaint.)

12/21/2007: IvenFaint shows coming up in the new year! The only definite one so far will be on March 1, 2008 at Belvedere's in Pittsburgh. There may be a few popping up here and there in January and February too, so check back often for updates. Screw you Fripp!

6/12/2007: There are two IvenFaint tracks on the just released Legendary Pink Dots tribute CD, Powdered Heaven Dressed In Plastic. Even though the band name is misspelled on the artwork several times in several ways, that's us. You can hear it and download it here. You'll notice that Robert Fripp did not contribute a track to the disc. This only serves to further my point that Robert Fripp is a complete jackass.

4/27/2007: A new IvenFaint CD is now available! No, it's not the long awaited new studio album, but it is a really great live album containing new songs unavaliable anywhere else. Check it out on the Music page. I'm not even going to dignify Robert Fripp by writing about him here.

2/6/2007: You can now release the breath you've been holding for so long because the first IvenFaint update of the new year is finally here! Yay! The "going" is as slow as ever, but it seems as though the new iDEATH studio is working out wonderfully. We finished recording a cover version of Eight Minutes To Live by The Legendary Pink Dots and if we can get it mixed and submitted by the deadline, it'll be appearing on the upcoming LPD tribute album. Look for it wherever bootleg recordings are available. Robert Fripp is still a pathetic Microsoft sell-out, no-talent, pompous asshole.

11/3/2006: Last night we finished mixing the songs for our new single, Submerged. You can find out more about it on our Music page. Buy a copy because Robert Fripp doesn't want you to!

4/14/2006: Wow. It's been a long time since this site has been updated. I had to change the opening page though (at Beannie's request) to take down one of the pictures that used to be here. It will never be seen again. Hopefully some more changes will be coming soon. The site needs redone because The Cure ripped off our idea of using notebook paper to make a web site. Now we have to move on so they can steal from us again. Oh yes, and by the way, I still hate Robert Fripp.

11/7/2005: When I get old, if I turn into a tired old fart that can't hack it anymore, like Robert Fripp, please kill me.

11/4/2005: Sorry there hasn't been an update in a while. I'm sure everyone's dying to know what thing I hate about Robert Fripp this week. The answer is simple: EVERYTHING!

10/20/2005: Robert Fripp is an asshole.

10/14/2005: Lousy, stinkin' Robert Fripp.

10/13/2005: Damn I hate Robert Fripp. 10/7/2005: Robert Fripp sucks! (...and so did his performance in Pittsburgh last night.) Please, people - don't encourage him. Someone really needs to let him know.

8/17/2005: The IvenFaint show at the Garfield Artworks went quite well last night. Hopefully the 2 people that showed up were very entertained. The two bands that were coming in from NY, Humans Are the Worst Invention and Lunch With Beardo, never showed up, so we ended up headlining for the first time. Wow.

7/27/2005: IvenFaint's third live performance will take place at the Garfield Artworks on August 16th, 2005. We will be performing with My Boyfriend The Pilot, Weird Paul, Humans are the Worst Invention, and Lunch With Beardo. There is a cover charge of $5 to pay for the use of the space. The show starts at 8:00 PM so make sure you're on time! Steve Palko, Pittsburgh's favourite bassist, and Garrett Treager, guitar impresario extraordinaire, will be sitting in. Thanks again guys!

6/1/2005: There is no news - the web site just needed to be updated a little. The studio is currently being used as a storage space while other parts of the house are under construction, so there haven't been any new IvenFaint recordings in a while. Sorry, loyal fans. Don't give up - more updates to come as they happen...

3/11/2005: IvenFaint is scheduled to play their second live show with the Pancreatic Aardvarks. Same venue - Craig Street Kiva Han in Pittsburgh, PA. It's free so come out and see it! It will take place on Saturday, March 26th at about 7:30 PM. Rhythm guitar and bass guitar to be provided by Garrett and Christine Treager. Thanks a lot guys!

11/22/2004: Sorry there hasn't been an update in a long time loyal fans, but life for IvenFaint has been very tumultous lately and the new studio has been under construction. (This is why we haven't recorded much.) However, to kick off the soon-to-be-complete-all-new IvenFaint studio, there will be an all-star jam session this Wednesday, November 24th. The line-up will tentatively include:
The psychedelic/acid rock guitar of Lori Beanner
The bong-rattling bass of Steve "Donald 'Duck' Dunn" Palko
The whimsical film rhetoric of Gary Weinberg
The bizarre clarinet exploitation of Garrett Treager
The unexplainable drug-induced hypnosis of Matt Petronko
The 'whatever-it-is-he-does-in-this-band' of Justin Baldonieri

5/7/04: In what was the last recording session in the beloved Crimson & Clover studio, IvenFaint recorded 3 new songs. A sample of one of these new songs can be found on the Music page.

2/26/04: The IvenFaint/Pancreatic Aardvarks show went quite well, despite the low turn-out and some early mixing anomalies. Here are some pictures.

2/18/04: IvenFaint is scheduled to play at the Craig Street Kiva Han in Pittsburgh on February 21st at 8 PM (opening for the Pancreatic Aardvarks). This historic occasion will mark the first ever live performance of a band that's been together for 12 years.
